CURRENT VACANCIES:

Mini Bus Driver

Due to increasing pupil numbers, we have opportunities for minibus drivers to join our friendly team, providing a safe, professional and courteous transport service.

Candidates will need to be confident in interacting with children and be able to maintain a good atmosphere on the bus.  Drivers will need to have a warm and flexible approach, be able to show initiative and work well on their own and as part of a team.

Drivers are required to hold a current unrestricted D1 entitlement, driver CPC card and tacho card or willing to undergo training.

This is a part-time role, with a range of different hours available including mornings, afternoons and evenings, or a combination.

Salary is up to £12.00 per hour for fully-qualified drivers.

Casual Recreational Assistants - Lifeguards

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, energetic and suitably qualified Recreational Assistants (Lifeguards) at Westonbirt School to perform a variety of tasks associated with the operation of Westonbirt Leisure Centre including Lifeguarding.

We are seeking candidates who already hold a RLSS Lifeguarding Qualification or with the ability to obtain within three months.

Casual Swimming Teacher / Coach

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, energetic and suitably qualified Casual Swimming Teacher/ coaches at Westonbirt School to join our Swimming Academy Team.

We are seeking candidates who hold a valid Swim England Level 2 or equivalent Swim Teaching Qualification and RLSS or NRASTC Lifeguarding Qualification  

Current Hours available: 

  • Wednesdays 4.30pm – 6.30pm
  • Fridays 4pm – 7pm
  • Saturdays 9am – 1pm
  • Saturdays 1pm – 3pm
  • Sundays 9am – 12pm

Classes include private 1:1 lessons and group lessons in line with Learn to Swim Stages 1-7

A Parent & Baby qualification is desirable, but not required.

Duty Manager

Duty Managers

Vacancies has arisen for Full Time or Part Time Duty Managers within our Leisure Centre at Westonbirt Schools.

The Duty Manager position will ensure the efficient operation of the department within Westonbirt Leisure brand including but not limited to the Sports Centre in compliance with local and national legislation.

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years leisure industry experience (may be part time) who are confident communicator at all levels, can show evidence of success as an individual and as part of a team has a Flexible approach to working hours and holds a current RLSS lifeguard qualification or be willing to complete training.

Training opportunities to train as a swim coach and other opportunities available

Full time and Part time roles available, 5/7 in line with the working rotas. Hours not fixed.  A flexible approach to working hours is necessary to perform this role.  This will include weekends and evening working.

Housekeepers/ Cleaners

Housekeepers/ Cleaners

Westonbirt Schools are seeking Housekeepers to join our friendly and busy housekeeping team, to perform a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance of a safe, clean and hygienic environment.  Key duties may include cleaning toilets, showers, bathrooms, the vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping of floors, corridors and rooms. The completion of laundry and other domestic duties and ensuring that cleaning materials are safely stored.

We have various hours available both full time, part time, term time and year-round.

Painter and Decorator - Qualified

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Painter and Decorator to work as part of a team of Painters and Decorators and other skilled tradesmen within a leading independent boarding school based in a stately home. The Qualified Painter and Decorator will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint as required as part of the essential maintenance of all school building as well as projects.

Full time, 39 hours per week to be flexible around the needs of the business. The start date for this role will be dependent upon the receipt of satisfactory safeguarding checks but hopefully July 2021.

Nursery Assistant/ Practitioner

The opportunity has arisen for dynamic and inspiring staff to help to grow our EYFS team and to support the development of our busy and successful nursery, set within a highly regarded prep school and located in a glorious Cotswold setting. With the success of our recent expansion of provision in regard to age, numbers of attendees and school-holiday care, the current team will be bolstered with staff who are keen to provide excellent academic and pastoral care, make the most of an inspiring environment and hold the development of individuals as learners and people at the heart of their priorities.

We seeking applications from candidates who hold a full and relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the EYFS Framework.

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, Year-round.

Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buildings Maintenance Manager at Westonbirt Schools.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for coordinating the works of the Maintenance Team and for ensuring that items which require maintenance are working as expected and required in line with the School’s policies and procedures. This is a supportive hands-on role. There is an expectation to support the team from the ground as required.

We are seeking candidates with a construction background, a good understanding and knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations and ongoing PPM requirements, site safety, permit to work systems and emergency planning as well as the experience and competence to carry out most basic trade works within the carpentry, plumbing and painting spheres. A trade qualification would be desirable.

Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager

The opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious leader to manage and be responsible for the daily running and administration of the nursery, set within a highly regarded co-ed prep school, located in a glorious Cotswold setting. The Nursery Manager will work closely with the Headmaster to lead an already very successful nursery to a new level, enhancing the nursery’s offering and facilities and consolidating its position as the foremost nursery in the area.

This is a full-time, year-round role, 40 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Financial Reporting Manager

Financial Reporting Manager

An experienced, enthusiastic, suitably qualified Financial Reporting Manager is required to support the development of the Wishford Schools group.

Working within the central Finance team, the Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for:

• Managing the Financial Reporting cycle and output.

• Producing consolidated financial information for the Group including monthly management accounts and associated analysis, rolling cash flow forecasting and other financial information.

• Analysis of current and projected financial performance to support decision-making.

• Establishing benchmarking and KPI measures.

• Working in conjunction with external auditors to support completion of all statutory reporting and annual Tax pack.

This role will be based at Westonbirt School, Tetbury, with time spent at the group’s Head Office in Corsham, Wiltshire. This is a full-time, year-round role.

A competitive package of salary and benefits is available, including potential for discounted school fees.

Salary is dependent on experience but expected to be in the range of £45,000-£55,000 per annum.

The Electrician (Qualified) is responsible for the efficient and effective planning, scheduling, coordination and supervision of electrical works and electrical compliance across the school estate, ensuring electrical systems are maintained, with remedial and emergency work completed.
